If You Like The Yarn, You Might Also Like “Books Between”
Colby: Travis and I are always looking for great books to hand the readers in our lives. We know that if a kid likes Kate DiCamillo’s Because of Winn-Dixie they might also like Barbara O’Connor’s How to Steal a Dog. We were thinking that it might be fun to do the same with podcasts. In this series we’ll recommend a podcast that we think listeners of The Yarn may enjoy.
If you like The Yarn, you might also like….
Who:
The host of Books Between, Corrina Allen, is a 5th grade teacher.
What:
Books Between is a podcast for educators that want to learn more about teaching reading, and connecting 8-12 year old kids to books.
Episode to Try:
I recommend Corrina’s latest episode that addresses common classroom library mistakes (and ways to fix them). I love listening to her book talk at the end of each episode. She’s a pro! Check it out by clicking on the image below.
