I had so much fun interviewing Anne at her house for The Yarn.

Colby: After Travis and I finished the first season of The Yarn, we had no idea what to do. After talking about the podcast Song Exploder, we thought we would try a new series where we have a creator spend an episode taking us inside one of their books. It is sort of like how they do it with a song in Song Exploder.

Anne Ursu seemed like the perfect test subject for our new endeavor. If you missed this episode the first time around, we hope you take the time to listen to it now. She shares some pretty amazing things about writing The Real Boy.
