Travis: An excellent early reader is difficult to pull off, but author David LaRochelle and illustrator Mike Wohnoutka did it with See the Cat: Three Stories About a Dog.

In this episode, I talk with David and Mike about how the book was made, and what it was like to win a Geisel Award.
