How James Ponti Went From Disney World to Kid Lit

December 18, 2021 by Colby Sharp   1 comments

COLBY: James Ponti is someone that I love hanging out with. His love for books, kids, book creators, and baseball makes my heart happy. I called up James to talk about his ‘City Spies’ series. In this episode he talks about his journey to children’s literature, how a CIA director helped him with his ‘City Spies’ series, and what he learned from telling the same joke more than a thousand times at Disney World.

Wow, this was such a great interview. I wasn’t familiar with James Ponti’s work before listening, but I’m definitely going to check out City Spies!
