MEXIKID: Pedro Martín Visits The Yarn

Travis: I first found out about Pedro Martín through his Instagram (@MexikidStories), where he posts short comics about his life. I was thrilled to learn that he was working on a graphic novel memoir, and even more thrilled when I read it and it instantly became one of my favorite books of 2023.
Back in June I met Pedro at the ALA Annual conference to talk about how the book was made. It was a real pleasure to go behind the scenes of Mexikid.
