COLBY: I first interviewed Ruth Behar for The Yarn back in 2017 for her book ‘Lucky Broken Girl’. As soon as I finished her new book ‘Accross so Many Seas’, I knew that I HAD to talk to her about the book. Writing a book for middle grade readers that follows one family for 500ish years just blew my mind. I had to learn more about her writing process for this book.
