Illustrating the Creation of the Universe with Ekua Holmes

January 27, 2019 by Travis Jonker   2 comments

The Stuff of Stars

Travis: Last summer I sat down with award-winning illustrator Ekua Holmes. We talked about The Stuff of Stars her book with Marion Dane Bauer. How did Holmes go about illustrating a book about the creation of the universe? It all began with marbleized paper.

We hope you enjoy the show.
